Terms of Use

Reader ("the app") is provided by SLUX LLC ("we", "us"). By using the app you agree to these terms and to Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement, which also applies. If these terms and Apple's agreement conflict, Apple's agreement applies.

Your books and content

Only import books and files you have the right to use. You keep all rights to your content. You give us permission to store and process it only as needed to run the app for you, for example to sync it and to explain words.

AI explanations

Word explanations are generated by AI and may sometimes be incomplete or wrong. They are a learning aid, not professional or authoritative advice.

Subscriptions and purchases

Paid features are sold through Apple's App Store. Prices are shown in the app before you buy. Subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, in your Apple account settings. Payment, renewal, cancellation and refunds are handled by Apple under its terms.

Fair use

Daily limits apply to AI explanations. Do not misuse the service, for example by automating requests, trying to get around limits, or interfering with how the app works.

Your account

You are responsible for keeping access to your sign-in account secure. You can delete your account at any time from the app. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.

Changes and availability

We may update the app and these terms. We will update the date above when we do, and tell you in the app about significant changes. We try to keep the service running but cannot promise it will always be available or free of errors.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, the app is provided "as is", and SLUX LLC is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from its use. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the law that cannot be limited.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, except where the law of your country of residence requires otherwise.
